About Our Leauge

boys team charity was founded in 2001 by families that wanted to teach their sons the importance of giving back and making a difference in their local community. As of 2025, we have 43 leagues supporting communities nationwide and developing our young teens into future leaders. The success of btc is felt not only by our members, but by the philanthropies we serve.

btc Mission

boys team charity, together with its leagues, is a national volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through active participation of parents and teens in philanthropic projects in their communities.

btc Critical Goals

  • Serve the Community: Develop a sense of social responsibility.
  • Promote Personal Growth: Build self esteem and a giving spirit.
  • Strengthen Family Relationships: Deepen bonds with parents by volunteering together in boys team charity.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Cultivate respect and an appreciation of others by working as a team, developing leadership skills, and creating friendships.
  • Provide Educational Opportunities:  Provide teen members with experiences that foster their community responsibilities and goals.

Community Service

Serving our community is a critical goal of boys team charity and a cornerstone of our mission statement. As a volunteer service organization, one of our primary objectives is to provide opportunities for our members to use their time and talents to support their local philanthropies, in order to build a sense of social responsibility within their communities.  Each league carefully selects their own local philanthropic organizations to serve, and our national headquarters also champions an annual All League Philanthropy Initiative, which allows all our leagues to work in concert to support a specific cause each year.

Philanthropy is the desire to promote the welfare of others and is often done through giving gifts of time and talent. We serve hundreds of philanthropic organizations across the nation and are continually seeking new philanthropy partners. All btc leagues have carefully developed membership boundaries. Find the league closest to you and ensure your family meets the posted boundary requirements.

    Membership Boundaries
To support strong local connections and meaningful participation, our organization limits membership in each league based on city or zip code residence and/or school attendance. These boundaries help us:

Build a close-knit community of families who live near each other
Encourage consistent involvement by reducing travel and scheduling barriers
Keep group size manageable for effective planning and safety
Ensure fair access for families in our designated area
By focusing on our local community, we create the best possible experience for parents and sons — one rooted in shared values, relationships, and a sense of belonging.

Prospective Members of the league must reside within the boundaries. If you’re unsure whether your family falls within our boundaries, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help!

Prospective Members may fill out the Membership Inquiry Form at any time during their 7th through 10th grade year.  Interested 6th graders can fill out the form after November 1st for the upcoming year’s membership drive.

boys team charity’s Prospective Member Drive and Notification occurs in March each year, with some leagues enrolling new members through the summer. We maintain a waitlist of interested candidates should we not have openings in a particular team.

Thank you for your interest in boys team charity! We look forward to making a difference with you!
